Communication Access Real-Time Translation (C.A.R.T.) allows the deaf client to view word-for-word translations on a computer screen in real time. All you need is a laptop and an internet connection. Let us handle the rest.

Terms & Conditions

VRI & Remote Real Time Captioning
Half hour minimum for medical, government, business, etc. One hour minimum for educational. If your scheduled time goes over, you will be billed in 15 minute increments. VRI jobs over 60 minutes require 2 interpreters.
Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) requires a computer with a webcam and high speed internet access. A test call is required before a VRI appointment to ensure there are no technical difficulties. If technical difficulties arise during the VRI session, you are still responsible for payment.
Real Time Captioning requires a computer with a webcam and high speed internet access. A test call is required before a real-time captioning appointment to ensure there are no technical difficulties. If technical difficulties arise during the session, you are still responsible for payment.
All jobs require a 48-business-hour cancellation or rescheduling notice. If cancellation or rescheduling is not made before 48-business-hours of the start time of the appointment, you are still responsible for payment.
An additional $15 per half hour will be charged for last minute or emergency jobs (less than 4 hours notice)
You will be invoiced upon completion of the job
If invoice is not paid within 30 days, a 10% late fee will be added. An additional 10% will be added to the late fee every 30 days that the invoice is not paid.

On-Site
Two hour minimum per interpreter needed. Jobs over 30 minutes require two interpreters (this usually does not apply to medical and dental appointments.) If your scheduled time goes over, you will be billed in 15 minute increments.

Interpreters are booked months in advance. A request should be submitted at least 14 days prior to your scheduled appointment to optimize your chances of an interpreter being available for your request.
If invoice is not paid within 30 days, a 10% late fee will be added. An additional 10% will be added to the late fee every 30 days that the invoice is not paid.
